On 13 December 2019, OPDC announced it will be revising its plans for Old Oak North. As part of this announcement, OPDC will no longer be pursuing the provisional £250m allocation of Housing Infrastructure Funding (HIF) that was announced by government in March 2019, as the HIF funding was required to deliver key infrastructure to support redevelopment at Old Oak North.

OPDC’s HIF bid was submitted to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) in September 2018 and all assumptions within the bid should be read within the context that they were based on OPDC’s and its advisors' best knowledge at that point in time.

The HIF bid was submitted by the GLA on behalf on OPDC. It was produced by OPDC in its role as delivery agency and not as the Local Planning Authority. The assumptions made within the bid, including but not limited to those relating to affordable housing, density and viability, were not discussed or agreed with OPDC in its role as Local Planning Authority. The information contained within the bid should not therefore be used or relied upon by third parties, as being appropriate or acceptable to OPDC in its role as Local Planning Authority.

The HIF bid includes redactions that have been made at the request of MHCLG and in line with GDPR.
