Constituents in Enfield have raised concerns that Whitewebbs Park was not recognised as a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC) by their council in its latest review in 2020, despite it being an ecologically rich area, surrounded by and connecting other SINCs. Residents are concerned that this means its conservation value will not be adequately considered in a proposed development on the park, currently being considered by the council.
