Whilst the Met Police Workforce Data Reports reflect LGBT+ summary data, the Met does not reflect this among its recruitment and attrition tables. Do you track this separately? If so, can you please provide the hiring and attrition numbers, both in number and percentage for each of the last 5 years?

The latest Met Police Workforce Data Report for September 2025 shows that since April 2025, the Met Police has lost 1,251 police officers and only 317 police officers joined the force in that same time. Are you concerned about this reduction in police officer numbers?

Affordable housing quotas

A constituent has contacted me in distress about sudden changes to the UK’s Skilled Worker visa route, which I understand have left more than 200 Transport for London staff, and hundreds of employees at the GLA affected and at risk of deportation within a matter of weeks. These are people who took jobs with the understanding that they would be able to transition from graduate visas to Skilled Worker visas and continue their careers in London.
