Restoration of Older Person’s Freedom Passes 2

  • Reference: 2024/2092
  • Question by: Caroline Russell
  • Meeting date: 18 July 2024
Thank you for your answer to my question 2024/1676, in which you describe the re-introduction of free travel on Friday mornings as a ‘by-product’ of the Let’s Do Fridays trial. The press release launching Let’s do Fridays says that the “Trial will also benefit 60+ and Freedom Pass holders who will be able to use their passes all day on Fridays”. Could you share the criteria against which the trial will be assessed, the expected publication date, and whether you plan to assess the impact of the trial on older Londoners?

  • Reference: 2024/2091
  • Question by: Caroline Russell
  • Meeting date: 18 July 2024

Intelligent Speed Assistance (ISA) technology has been mandated on all new TfL buses since 2019 and it has also been retrofitted to existing buses. Could you tell me how many of these 6,680 complaints involved buses fitted with ISA, and what proportion of the total fleet of TfL buses has been fitted with ISA?
