There are not any London councils who have yet completed and shared health and safety audit reports on the Gypsy and Traveller sites in their boroughs, despite the fact a fresh suite of audits should have been prompted by the 2021 London Plan. What are the reasons councils are reporting for these delays, and what are you doing to ensure councils address this complete failure of oversight as soon as possible?

In a letter from the Head of Programme Management in your Housing and Land team to the Chair of the London Assembly Budget and Performance Committee, dated 25 October 2023, they said: “the GLA is estimating that £173.5m of the funding approved for projects in the Affordable Housing Programme 2021-26 will be applied to homes replacing obsolete units.” What is the latest estimate of how much AHP 2021-26 funding is going towards replacing ‘obsolete’ units, and how many units does this equate to?

Constituents in Enfield have raised concerns that Whitewebbs Park was not recognised as a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (SINC) by their council in its latest review in 2020, despite it being an ecologically rich area, surrounded by and connecting other SINCs. Residents are concerned that this means its conservation value will not be adequately considered in a proposed development on the park, currently being considered by the council.
