Environment Agency warning on surface water flooding for Monday 23 September

A constituent from Island Gardens in Greenwich has raised concerns with me about a 25-year-old cruise ship that was moored nearby, which caused them to have breathing difficulties due to the diesel fumes and to use up their inhalers. They would like to ask what action you can take with the Port of London Authority (PLA) to insist they only allow cruise ships meeting Tier III emissions standards, as set out by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO), to come upstream of the Thames Barrier?
