Constituents who use Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich DLR station have contacted me in response to the news that Transport for London (TfL) has: “decided to extend the planned concession for free cross-river DLR trips from Greenwich/Cutty Sark DLR station to Island Gardens, given the continuing issues with the escalators at Cutty Sark. The recent update from Transport for London (TfL) on preparation for opening the Silvertown Tunnel includes information for Londoners who drive to prepare for paying tolls and registering for driving discounts. There is no similar information for people hoping to use the new zero-emission cycle-shuttle service. When will the final designs be confirmed and information shared about how to use the cycle-shuttle service, so people hoping to cross the river by bike can start to plan their journeys?
