Further to the statements found in TfL's recently-created Bus Safety Data Guidance document, which dataset does TfL use to calculate its baseline for bus fatalities used in the Mayor's Transport Strategy — (a) the bus fatality data "which meet the Department for Transport’s (DfT’s) STATS19 definition or (b) the larger set of bus fatality data derived from TfL's "SHE incident reporting and investigation system" "which do not meet the Department for Transport’s STATS19 definition?

Correlating the data on TfL's "Road Fatalities in London since 2019" spreadsheet with TfL's "Bus Injury Details [Q1 2014 - Q2 2024]" spreadsheet, I've concluded that there were sixteen preventable ‘Bus Safety Incidents’ in 2024, 12 from bus collisions (9 pedestrians and 3 cyclists) and 4 passengers who died from onboard safety incidents (3 falls and 1 "activity" incident), representing a hundred per cent year-on-year increase for preventable ‘Bus Safety Incident’ deaths and a fifty percent increase in fatalities from collisions. While correlating the information provided in your delayed response to question 2024/3718 with the 2023 data found in the TfL's "Road Fatalities in London since 2019" spreadsheet, I can find no citation for the ‘12 March 2023 RATP Route 79 Bus Collision Death of Adult Male Passenger/Customer in Harrow’ which is clearly found (as ID 260054) in TfL's "Bus Injury Details [Q1 2014 - Q2 2024]" spreadsheet found on its website. How do you explain this error?

While correlating the data on TfL's "Road Fatalities in London since 2019" spreadsheet with TfL's "Bus Injury Details [Q1 2014 - Q2 2024]" spreadsheet, in the former document I noted the absence of an "Activity Incident" fatality of a bus occupant of route 55 bus operated under contract by Stagecoach London from its Leyton Depot on 27 January 2024 in Westminster.
