The TfL Status Update page (https://tfl.gov.uk/tube-dlr-overground/status/) now says “Download our TfL Go app to see a live map of current status for Tube, London Overground, Elizabeth line, DLR and tram”. Can you explain why this map is no longer available on the webpage and ask TfL to review the removal for the benefit of those Londoners who don’t have access to a smartphone?

The Transport for London quarterly performance report Q3 2020/21 says “At the start of the pandemic, TfL established a recruitment freeze for non-critical roles, that resulted in staff reductions of 824 FTE in 2020/21, with more than half of these roles from agency and non-permanent labour staff.” Can you define what a non-critical role is? Can you also provide details on how you categorise the rest of the workforce, such as being in critical roles? Please provide a definition of those roles as well.

A Railway Fit for London’s Future

The Government is consulting on “A Railway Fit for Britain’s Future” which says “The Government will establish a ‘right to request’ which will provide a new and transparent process for the Secretary of State to make decisions on further devolution where Established Mayoral Strategic Authorities believe they could more effectively run rail services and/or assets.” Can we expect you to make a request for devolution of metro routes in London?
