In response to a recent FOI request on the Clapham High Street Streetscape Scheme, TfL has said that the cycle wand lanes have been adjusted to allow cars to pull into the segregated cycle lane to allow ambulances to pass. Has there been an assessment to see if this mitigation is adequate? How are drivers made aware that they are allowed to carry out this manoeuvre?
