In the February 2023 document, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Fixed Estate Charge Review, Submission to the Mayor, it is stated that the income from the Fixed Estate Charge (FEC) will go up by £3 million to £5.8 million by 2025-26. How is this £3 million figure arrived at?

In the February 2023 document, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Fixed Estate Charge Review, Submission to the Mayor, a breakdown of categories of uses that pay the Fixed Estate Charge (FEC) is provided. These are: Commercial, £1.80 per sq ft; Private housing, state schools, civic, community and culture amenities, £1.26 per sq ft; Affordable Housing, £0.63 per sq ft. Could you explain what methodology the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) used to decide these categories and levels of charge?

Training for interactions with Londoners in mental health distress

I've been speaking with young people on the London Youth youth board, and they have raised questions about the way police are trained to interact with people experiencing mental ill health. The 2022 report, Pay and Morale Survey 2022 Metropolitan Police Service, from the Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW), said that 47 per cent of officers were dissatisfied or very dissatisfied with the training they are given. What steps are you taking to ensure Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) officers in London have good training for interactions with Londoners in mental health distress?
