Banning gambling and risky investment advertising from TfL

The Transport for London (TfL) network is still regularly hosting advertising for both gambling and high-risk investments. Most of these adverts state lower down in their copy that the majority of people using these services lose money. Is it right for you to gain money from advertisers who are making money in this way, and when will you finally ban them?

Kilburn Square grant funding from the Affordable Homes Programme 2016-23

Brent Council’s planned infill housing development on the Kilburn Square estate has been allocated grant from the Affordable Homes Programme 2016-23, but on 7 March it informed residents that work will not start on site by 31 March 2023, and that it will now review all the options to provide a more viable and desirable scheme. Does this mean you will withdraw the grant funding, or will you be able to extend it or transfer the funding to the Affordable Homes Programme 2021-26?

In the February 2023 document, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Fixed Estate Charge Review, Submission to the Mayor, it is stated that the Fixed Estate Charge (FEC): “contributes towards the management of the parklands, footpaths, cycle ways, bridges, waterways and venues that make up Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park,” including the: “Provision of security and CCTV.” Residents in Chobham Manor pay the FEC because the area is within the Park, but have also raised concerns about community safety and lack of security staff on their estate. Pudding Mill allotments lease extension

Members of the Manor Gardening Society have contacted me about the delay in resetting the lease for Pudding Mill allotments back to its original 38 years once development is completed, to give back the time allotment holders have lost on the site due to disruption from both the negotiation of the Section 106 agreement and the proposed works on and off site. Could you update me on this process and what is holding up progress?
