You have covered the ground, to some extent, on this one.

Transport Safer Neighbourhood Teams (Supplementary) [1]

  • Question by: Richard Barnes

I cannot help but notice Val Shawcross' question which follows this, on CCTV footage. Are you happy that people are working integratedly across the transport system, to provide this safe system? I get reports also from my constituents that they are fearful of using the night buses because of the crime and the sheer atmosphere, and I get that from youngsters.

I do not suggest you name that person, because you might get a writ as a result.

Dollis Hill House (Supplementary) [5]

Can I ask you, then, to specify exactly the nature of your offer, both in capital and revenue terms?

Dollis Hill House (Supplementary) [4]

  • Question by: Bob Blackman
  • Meeting date: 18 November 2006
In December 2003, shortly before the 2004 mayoral elections, you made a promise to fund the refurbishment of Dollis Hill House, which is a Grade II listed building in your old parliamentary constituency. That promise has never been fulfilled over the last three years. What confidence can we have that the promise you have made now is going to be fulfilled?

Dollis Hill House (Supplementary) [3]

  • Question by: Bob Blackman
  • Meeting date: 18 November 2006
You are obviously reading the local paper as opposed to reading the Executive minutes. What we did do was to agree a consultation - and you are very clear on consultation, and the results of consultation, as we know - on the future uses and redevelopment of the house, including all options, including redevelopment. So we will take your offer up and no doubt you will be hearing further from us.

Dollis Hill House (Supplementary) [2]

Can I be clear, on the match funding of capital works, is that capital, whatever source the capital comes from?

Dollis Hill House (Supplementary) [1]

  • Question by: Bob Blackman
  • Meeting date: 18 November 2006
Can I correct your misinformation as well? The Executive did not decide to demolish the building. You are obviously reading the local paper

Taxi Emissions Equipment (Supplementary) [4]

  • Question by: Roger Evans
  • Meeting date: 18 November 2006
This is a test done by London cab drivers, who had originally objected, but nevertheless, it is done by the independent laboratory in Southampton, and verified by them. Do you think at least, given the controversy over the results, you should suspend the programme so that you can make certain that you are fitting equipment that works, and that is not making pollution worse in London?
