In your response to question 2023/0930, you reported that – for the 3,879 potentially preventable bus safety incidents occurring between 1 January 2016 and 31 December 2021 that resulted in people being killed or seriously injured – TfL did not know how many of these incidents involved bus drivers working their rest days because “the type of shift being worked at the time of an incident is not information that is routinely captured as part of the bus operator’s initial incident reporting to Transport for London (TfL)."
