My constituent has an older compliant vehicle. The DVLA has accepted paperwork from him and have confirmed that his car is compliant and meets the Clean Air Zone standard, which as you know is the same standard as the ULEZ. Why will TfL not accept this paperwork or the DVLA’s approval as proof of compliance?

Although there is a TfL portal to enable car owners to submit evidence to prove their car is compliant, via a manufacturers letter, are you aware that TfL has recently started declining all applications through this, regardless of the validity?
