All right. The report that Peter Hendy produced for the panel also states that operational issues are being addressed with operators, education authorities and TfL partners. What are those operational issues?

Do you not think the concern about truancy is worth addressing though? Will you take cards off people you catch travelling on the buses when they should be at school?

The reason I made that request to you is that last time we discussed this you were talking about using the Police to make sure everyone stands in an orderly line when queuing for a bus so really it would not be too much to expect that you use this scheme to control truancy rather than encourage it.

Yes, that would be helpful. Do you accept that we shall never resolve this reliability problem on the Northern Line unless we face up to the need to reconstruct the narrow tunnels at Camden Town?

Are you suggesting that on the Northern Line they are more vigorous at reporting back problems, or do you think there are more difficulties on the Northern Line compared to other Tube lines?

I just wanted to make a point supportive of what Angie (Bray, AM) has said because she does say Cassandra was right and the thing that strikes me is that you are talking about overspends effectively being funded by property deals and mentioned large uplifts, which is the thing we have always predicted for the last year and a half. What you are really saying is, by altering the land use a number of years hence, you can uplift the value massively ' that is the whole point about property speculation and granting yourself different rights over the land. friend of mine was in Poole Harbour not very long ago and saw the hoardings and the various preparations that were going up and the person he was with pointed gleefully at them and said well, you lot in London are paying for that lot, ha ha.
