Gul-e can install a narrow gully in the pavement so that an electric cable option can be run safely through the pavement without causing a hazard. This company appears to have successfully worked with Bromley Council. Will TfL consider providing grants to help trial this type of technology with various London boroughs?

I understand TfL does not want to open its fares to independent rail retailers. Why is that when it could save passengers quite a bit of money, especially on longer journeys?
