Learning from cities with free public transport

A new campaign has been started in London that draws inspiration from other cities offering free public transport, such as Dunkirk and Luxembourg. What studies is Transport for London (TfL) making of cities who have made a move to free or heavily discounted public transport, and would you support further studies being made into the impact of changes to public transport fares?

I applaud the decision to rename the Transport for London (TfL) London Overground lines to reflect the diversity of London. I am interested in TfL providing a baseline for current performance on the renamed routes. Could you provide a table of all London Overground services that will be renamed providing: a) the new name, b) the routes covered, c) days with severe delays in 2023, d) days with severe delays in 2022, and e) days with severe delays in 2021?

A constituent has raised concerns with me about the lack of resilience for stations south of New Cross Gate on the Transport for London (TfL) London Overground line, highlighted by the suspension of services to West Croydon on Wednesday 28 February. In 2022 Southern Railway withdrew the services that stopped at most of these stations and, when signalling problems occur, it has sometimes been the case that through services are kept running while stopping services were cancelled.
