Summary of request
Your request
I am writing to request information about estate ballots (Estate regeneration | London City Hall) conducted in London.
Please provide the following information about any ballots referring pertaining to estate regeneration schemes conducted under the GLA's ballot requirement.
- Scheme name
- Scheme postcode
- The borough the scheme is situated in
- Scheme freeholder/landlord (ie which borough or housing association owns the estate)
- Result
- Turnout
- Ballot date
- Homes for demolition
- Planning reference, if available
- If the ballot was unsuccessful, please indicate if a re-ballot was performed
- Whether the tenants were offered a 'single move' guarantee (i.e. that they would not be moved to temporary accommodation whilst the scheme is under construction), if available.
- Any further information you hold on the status of the scheme (e.g. has it been built, is it under construction, was the scheme refused permission, etc), if available.
In addition, if available, please include any information you have about the campaign spending by both 'yes' and 'no' campaigners. If this information is not available, or would be beyond the time limit to collect, please provide just the above list.
Our response
We do not hold the information in relation to every ballot undertaken. This information is collected by the individual Housing Providers. They seek funding when residents have voted in favour of the plans (We also do not routinely collect this information following a positive vote).
We do publish a list of ballots in which residents have voted in favour of plans that includes the information on regeneration projects (It’s the document ‘List of positive ballots’): Estate regeneration data | London City Hall
