There has previously been criticism and concern that the Met has not had appropriate flags on its systems to identify child criminal exploitation, including understanding if a child is in an out of area placement. Given the concerns that have been raised over child safeguarding in the Met previously by HMICFRS, how are you working to ensure all information that could flag child criminal exploitation is marked as a flag on the system, including if a child is a care leaver, in an out of area placement or in the care of the local authority?
