In her 19th June letter to you Secretary of State for Transport Heidi Alexander wrote: “The funding in this settlement is provided against an assumed scenario that overall TfL fares will rise by the value of RPI+1 for each year of this settlement.” Are you content that in return for the £2.167 billion long-term funding settlement which TfL has just been granted, fares will rise by RPI+1% for the next 4 years?
