Crisis has stated that the homelessness system is at 'breaking point' and most councils in England are facing an increase in homelessness. London accounts for half of all homeless households. London Councils have called on the government to take urgent action to tackle increasing homelessness with 170,000 Londoners now homeless and in temporary Housing. What more does the government need to do to support the GLA and London boroughs, and what more can you do to tackle this issue?

Harrow on the Hill Station drop off point

Following the successful installation of the lift at Harrow on the Hill tube station, disabled constituents would like to have a drop off point on College Road to help access the station’s lift for ease. I understand this road is maintained by Harrow Council, and TfL were in negotiations with the Council in relation to finding a suitable drop off space on the highway. Can TfL advise on any updates on these negotiations?

206 Bus Route

On the 27 July 2023, the Prime Minister put out a press release which suggested he wanted to centralise housebuilding powers in London. If enacted, this would, in my view be damaging to local democracy. As part of this, the Prime Minister suggested £53 million of investment may be given to Old Oak West.
