Road Closures at the A3 Junction at Tolworth

My constituent tells me that the road closures around the A3 junction at Tolworth are “without purpose”. Can you tell me why those closures remain in place, despite multiple people reporting them for removal over the last month, and when they will be removed?

Also at the A4/Wood Lane junction TfL is also looking into installing double red lines. TfL is seeking to do this in 12 months. Could you please look into whether this can be achieved sooner?

TfL are currently developing proposals for the redesign of the A4/Wood Lane junction. My understanding is that there are as yet no timescales for these proposals. This particular junction is an ongoing source of concern for local residents. Are you please able to intervene and ask TfL to bring forward these proposals as a matter of urgency?

TfL Decision to Restrict Numbers of Agency Bus Drivers working for Bus Operators

I've been informed by bus drivers that TfL has issued a formal decision to all its Bus Contractors to limit agency bus drivers to no more than ten percent of their work force by 1 April 2024. Please will you provide me with a copy of this decision?

Your response to question 2023/4720 suggests that there are instances where people are injured in ‘Bus Safety incidents’ which are not reported to TfL by the operator. Is this a correct assumption? If so, according to your long-delayed response to question 2023/1355, such behaviour by a bus operator would be a breach of its "contractual requirement that suppliers and contractors working on behalf of the GLA or TfL promptly notify their contract manager of any health and safety hazards that exist or may arise in connection with the performance of the service being delivered".
