Vaping on Public Transport

I have received a number of complaints from residents concerned that vaping on public transport, particularly the bus network, is increasing. What public information, such as posters and driver announcements, is being promoted by TfL to make this as unacceptable as smoking on the public transport system and to alert those vaping that it is not allowed and is anti-social.

Recently, residents in North London have been left without any rail services as TfL’s Piccadilly line improvement works and Great Northern rail’s essential maintenance have taken place at the same time. Can you please provide reassurance to residents that TfL and Great Northern will do all they can to ensure this will be avoided in the future?

Increased signage on Tube platforms

Can TfL please consider adding signage on Tube platforms to indicate which direction the train will be moving? Many users of the TfL network now use travel apps to organise their journeys, and these often indicate which end of the train to board for smoother interchanges - this signage would be very helpful and avoid confusion.

Yellow/Keep Clear box at A10/Lee Road junction EN1

Over 850 residents of multiple roads, nearest postcode EN1 1HL, live in an area accessed by only one entrance and exit (Lee Road) that leads directly onto the A10 in Enfield. Due to the high volume of traffic on the A10 residents are often blocked in, unable to enter or exit their homes without long delays. Local councillors in Jubilee ward have lobbied and organised a petition asking for Transport for London to install ‘Keep Clear’ markings or a yellow box on the A10 at this junction to resolve this issue.
