Age UK give early morning hospital appointments as an example of when seniors with a travel pass need to travel before 9.00am. Senior housing (1)

  • Reference: 2025/1880
  • Question by: Anne Clarke

603 bus (2)

  • Reference: 2025/1879
  • Question by: Anne Clarke
  • Meeting date: 19 June 2025
The 603 is the only bus route connecting Muswell Hill, Highgate, East Finchley, Hampstead Garden Suburb, Hampstead and Swiss Cottage on one line. This would be a popular regular route and an improvement of orbital transport links. In any future expansion of bus services, would TfL consider upgrading the service from a school bus to a regular service?

603 bus (1)

  • Reference: 2025/1878
  • Question by: Anne Clarke
  • Meeting date: 19 June 2025
Local residents have complained to TfL about the 603 bus service timings and frequency. The response from TfL suggests that changing the timings of the services would impact other users. Whilst this is an understandable concern, surely the answer would be to increase the number and frequency of the service to allow more school children to use buses to get to schools? Specifically, between 6:40 and 8:15 and 15:15 and 17:15 in both directions?

Hendon Station

  • Reference: 2025/1877
  • Question by: Anne Clarke
  • Meeting date: 19 June 2025
Queues are building up on the stairs at Hendon Station due to a lack of enough card readers. Not having enough card readers penalises honest commuters who do the right thing by tapping in and out and paying their fares by unnecessarily delaying them. Will you therefore ask TfL to work with Thameslink and request the installation of more card readers to allow passengers to get into and out of the station more easily?
