Pubs, restaurants and nightclubs face closure because of the 300% rise in average annual bills, due to in increases in energy and food prices, or cuts to opening hours at the very least. This means that thousands of jobs could be at risk as businesses that survived the Covid crisis are struggling with debts averaging £40,000. What support have you provided the hospitality industry with: a) chronic challenges in the supply chain; b) labour shortages; and c) interest rates and inflation?
