Your Night Czar has held this post since 2016 and since then, the number of nightclub venues and venues with late night licenses has fallen year on year. During the pandemic, 58 of London’s venues closed (22% of the overall figure) bringing them to an all-time low. In London, 1 in 5 bouncers have left the job permanently. Isn’t this a failure?
