The pelican crossing across the North Circular near to the junction with Warwick Road, very close to Bowes Primary School, provides a 2-stage crossing over the North Circular. It is used by a large number of parents taking their children to Bowes Primary School. Whilst the pedestrian lights give plenty of time to cross the north side of the road to the central island, the lights on the south side of the island only allow 9 seconds to cross the road before changing to red. Recent research titled "Lifecycle Analysis of E-scooters in Sharing Services", by Innovate UK shows the huge difference in CO2 emissions between the production of e-scooters in China, UK and Sweden.
