The pelican crossing across the North Circular near to the junction with Warwick Road, very close to Bowes Primary School, provides a 2-stage crossing over the North Circular. It is used by a large number of parents taking their children to Bowes Primary School. Whilst the pedestrian lights give plenty of time to cross the north side of the road to the central island, the lights on the south side of the island only allow 9 seconds to cross the road before changing to red. In your recent press release on affordable homebuilding in the capital, you claimed to have surpassed the target of starting 116,000 genuinely affordable homes for Londoners between 2015/16 and 2022/3. Why did you include the financial year of 2015/2016 in this calculation when you were only elected as Mayor of London in May 2016?

CO2 emissions resulting from the production of e-scooters

Recent research titled "Lifecycle Analysis of E-scooters in Sharing Services", by Innovate UK shows the huge difference in CO2 emissions between the production of e-scooters in China, UK and Sweden. In your evaluation of the e-scooter trial, will you be looking at the impact of CO2 emissions resulting from the production of e-scooters and therefore take this into account when assessing the viability of this micro mobility mode of transport?
