Cromwell Road Pedestrian Crossing

Local Councillors and residents have contacted me regarding the pedestrian crossing at the junction of Cromwell Road and Knaresborough Place. The lane for vehicles coming from Cromwell Road turning into Marloes Road is too short given the level of traffic. When the traffic lights at the junction of Cromwell Road and Marloes Road are red, vehicles back up and block the pedestrian crossing at Cromwell Road/Knaresborough Place. As a result, pedestrians can no longer see if the pedestrian crossing lights are green or the crossing is blocked by vehicles. Will you consider extending the existing yellow box on the junction...

Residents have contacted me with concerns about gas works along CS7, forcing cyclists to merge with the vehicle traffic. Will you look into some sort of temporary provision for cyclists along this route whilst these works are taking place??
