Could you tell me what protocol Transport for London (TfL) enforcement officers must follow when engaging with members of the public? For example, do they have to provide identification or tell the member of the public about any rights they have or ways in which they can appeal?

Air Pollution and Inequalities in London report update 2023 (2)

The 30 June 2023 report, Greater London Authority air quality exposure and inequalities study, from Aether, highlights that the most deprived communities and that Black, Mixed Multiple and Other populations are more likely to live in the most polluted areas, yet: “Despite progress towards meeting the WHO targets, the disparity in exposure by ethnicity is not expected to change over time without further significant action.” Could you tell me what action over air pollution you are taking to reduce these disparities with regard to income and ethnicity, and what targets, if any, you are working towards?
