NHS England has brought forward its coronavirus and flu vaccination programmes for this winter, despite having earlier planned to delay the programme in order to produce a shorter gap between vaccinations being administered and winter viruses circulating. This change has confused Londoners and risks delaying effective vaccination. What steps are you taking to support eligible Londoners to be protected as quickly and systematically as possible from coronavirus and flu, without any further confusion?

In June 2023, University of Exeter researchers published a paper, The evolution of atmospheric particulate matter in an urban landscape since the Industrial Revolution, about the historical development of air pollution in Merseyside. It concluded: “For the first time, we show that in Merseyside, urban generations born post-1990 have been exposed to higher levels of fine PM during their lifetimes compared to previous generations.
