With train orders often taking years to complete, placing orders now, or at the very least, making the commitment to place orders soon will ensure the factories aren’t closed down. Bus Services in Barnes

  • Reference: 2023/3460
  • Question by: Caroline Pidgeon
  • Meeting date: 14 September 2023
Residents in North Barnes have expressed concerns around fit-for-purpose usage of small neighbourhood roads, such as Lonsdale Road, Kilmington Road, Howsman Road and Verdun Road, by TfL for the 33, 209 and 485 service routes. Before the closure of Hammersmith Bridge, these roads only accommodated the 419 bus. Given the prolonged closure of Hammersmith Bridge, what assessments have been carried out on the potential re-routing of those buses to ensure they reflect the needs of the residents of Barnes?
