In the letter that you sent to London partners around this, it says four of the five reduced-hour counters will close, the remaining counter resourced entirely by volunteers. Can you talk to us about what the “volunteers” means, who these people are, what their skills will be, and what support they get?

Your own figures suggest that five per cent of all crimes in London are reported via front counters. Are you concerned that closing these front counters could lead to underreporting of crimes in London?
