South Wimbledon grinding update (2)

On 2nd May 2025 site visit with TfL in South Wimbledon, residents and I were informed the grinding train would come to their section of the line in July 2025. I have now been informed no grinding has taken place, and there are no scheduled works in the coming months. Can you please confirm as soon as possible when grinding can next take place in South Wimbledon?

Does the Mayor agree with the Centre for Social Justice recommendation that prisoners who are reliant on Universal Credit should be able to submit their claim five weeks before their approved release date, so that they receive their first payment on the day of release?

Do education providers funded through the Adult Skills Fund have any opportunities to build relationships with people who are nearing the end of a prison sentence? Could the Mayor facilitate contact between education providers and the Home Office so that people leaving prison can continue training where that is useful?
