I hope that your researchers have bothered to read some of Gordon Ramsay's articles like `A Day in the Life of' when he actually talked about the fact that the worst thing facing him was the number of parking tickets he incurred from driving around London going from restaurant to restaurant.

That is a very full answer, and it is good to hear what the actual numbers were behind this advertising campaign. Do you think that spending that sort of money on promoting, for example, the fact that Transport for London is in charge of transport in London is necessarily a good use of public money?

We are clearly straying a little bit. I did not go to public school, and I use public transport every day to go to and from this place and on constituency business. It is not always as good as what is depicted in this advert. To come back to the original question, is this not a huge waste of money when fares are going up by more than you promised, when the Congestion Charge is going up by more than you promised?
