I have a question regarding the Ofsted criteria in the application guidance.

We are a provider who has been delivering since August 2019, we have received our Ofsted New Provider Monitoring Visit, but have not yet had our first full inspection.  There is no reference I can see in the guidance as to providers who may be in this position with their Ofsted outcomes. Are we still eligible to apply based on our New Provider Monitoring Visit outcomes of reasonable progress?

Currently, providers without a full OFSTED inspection cannot apply for the Quality Mark, therefore a New Provider Monitoring Visit outcome will not count towards the eligibility for this criterion. As stated Under 2. OFSTED grades Section 5.1.1. Criteria Section 1: Provider Details in the Statement of Requirements.

However, if appropriate training providers might be able to apply if acting as a subcontractor for an OFSTED assessed prime contractor under the following criteria:

Where providers are subcontracting for an OFSTED assessed prime contractor, the OFSTED grade of the prime must be a minimum OFSTED grade of 2 (Good). Providers are invited to submit provision evidence to be followed up with clarification discussions where required. Applicants should take a judgement on what evidence to supply.
