Can the authority please clarify your requirements for Q13 Governance for the Mayor’s Quality Mark tender?

General

• (Organisation A) will be submitting an application, but it would be helpful if you could clarify whether we need to submit separate applications for green and construction sectors?
• Although we deliver training within GLA we are based in North Yorkshire and pay the National Living wage. Would we still need to pay the London Living Wage to receive the Quality Mark?
• As you may be aware we have partnered with […] and […] in the above project.  Both of these have been appointed the Lead Supplier and we will be part of their partner eco-system. 
• Can I double check that you are open to HEIs who are working with the Academy hubs applying for the quality mark please?
• Can the authority please confirm the word count for questions 16 and 17 of the application form for the Mayor’s Academies Programme Quality Mark?
• Can we get an extension to the application deadline?
• Can you confirm when the next application window will open after this round closes?
• Can you confirm whether we would need to achieve the quality mark to deliver as a subcontractor within GLA?
• Can you please confirm if existing holders of the Mayor’s Construction Academy Quality Mark are required to submit a new application under the new Mayor’s Academy Quality Mark process?
• Can you please confirm if we are permitted to provide the same sector related employer contact details for the same five employers from the supporting statements for Q7?
• College A and College B are part of the X College Group, and both want to apply, am I correct in thinking this should be two separate applications as they are separate colleges?
• Could I also please clarify the point regarding the 'named' sector?
• Could you please confirm if we need to apply for a MAP Quality Mark for Construction provision if it is already under the Mayor’s Construction Academy? Or does the Mayor’s Construction Academy provide the same status as the MAP Quality Mark?

• I have a question regarding the Ofsted criteria in the application guidance.
• I’m not sure why the question on contracts is referring to the current year as 2022-23?
• In order to apply for the Quality Mark, is it necessary to already have funding in place, or would we require the Quality Mark in order to apply for funding?
• On question 14a it asks for an upload of a SAR. Although still commonplace in the sector Ofsted don’t mandate the SAR, but will accept an equivalent (please see page two last section). Will GLA accept an upload of an equivalent?
• Our organisation sits outside of London, are we eligible to apply for MAP accreditation?
• Please can you confirm that existing holders of the MCA Quality Mark should apply through the current, recently published process?
• The application, under Theme 2 – Ofsted Grades, suggests a minimum requirement of Ofsted Grade 2. We have not yet had a ‘Full’ Ofsted inspection, can we still apply?
• There are sections in the form that require you to submit evidence (such as links regarding governance, safeguarding polices), can you please clarify how you would like applicants to submit this information?
• We are a sub-contractor to GLA Primes. Can we still achieve this, or is it for Primes only?
