We have not yet had a ‘Full’ Ofsted inspection, no grades have been allocated to us yet. However, we have had an Ofsted Monitoring visit at ‘Reasonable Progress’ with good features in 2019. Please kindly confirm if we can still apply?
Currently, providers without a full Ofsted inspection cannot apply for the Quality Mark, therefore a Ofsted monitoring visit will not count towards the eligibility for this criterion.
As stated Under 2. OFSTED grades Section 5.1.1. Criteria Section 1: Provider Details in the Statement of Requirements. However, if appropriate training providers might be able to apply if acting as a subcontractor for an OFSTED assessed prime contractor under the following criteria:
Where providers are subcontracting for an Ofsted assessed prime contractor, the Ofsted grade of the prime must be a minimum Ofsted grade of 2 (Good). Providers are invited to submit provision evidence to be followed up with clarification discussions where required. Applicants should take a judgement on what evidence to supply.
