Full question: if a learner completes six weeks (1/3 of an 18-week course), what evidence does the college need to provide to show that the learner has progressed even if they do not complete the course? Can they be claimed? Is there a time limit on how long a learner must spend?
If a learner completes all requirements to pass a certificated qualification, you must follow the awarding organisation's procedure for claiming the relevant certificate(s), and record the early completion and achievement according to ILR guidance. For non-regulated learning you must have appropriate and robust quality assurance processes in place, e.g. the Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement Cycle (RARPA).
Further information on RARPA is available from the Learning and Work Institute.
