He is Level two qualified - since doing his maths has suffered a severe head injury which left him with long term difficult. Can you confirm? What are the learner residency requirements? Funding Can CPD for existing staff be covered by London Multiply funding? Can we have more information on how decisions were made regarding allocations? Can we purchase IT devices using London Multiply funding? Does London Multiply funding count towards an adult learners AEB annual funding cap? How will we be paid for London Multiply delivery? If a learner completes six weeks, what evidence does the college need to provide to show that the learner has progressed? if we use reg aims the codes set for the ILR does not draw down funding? In the initial investment template, we have underestimated the need. Is it possible to request an increase in funding? Is there scope to carry across funding to subsequent financial/academic years? What happens if provider is not able to meet its target by the end of financial year? Can the funding be carried forward? When can providers expect the confirmation of Year two and three funding? Will any over delivery be funded? Will Multiply funding values be shown in the ILR? Will we be given funding in arrears after learning is on the ILR? Would you accept higher rates per learner if we claimed this in our ILR? Programme delivery About registering the course with NCS - is this for substantive courses or should it include engagement activities as well? Can functional skills be taught as part of Multiply? Can Functional Skills Maths be funded by London Multiply? Can we fund learners with Level two via AEB? Can we subcontract for three years? Do any partners have successful strategies for communicating with local community groups, or are there any resources that we can use? Do we have to stick to the hours submitted? Do you have any ideas or examples of Multiply providers collaborating for a particular course/offering? How about any changes to interventions – what’s the process for this please? We have already submitted our request for change for Year two last month but not heard back. Do we need to resubmit? How can we share innovative practice in a way that avoids competition (and benefits residents) between providers? How to make maths interesting and accessible? How will the GLA ensure that providers that are struggling to meet their target in the first financial year are supported? If we delivered under the interventions agreed but the number of learners under each intervention is different to what was agreed. is there an issue with this? If we submit a small reprofiling will the funding be reprofiled into next year? Is it ok to use Multiply interventions with learners if they’re studying Functional Skills Maths and GCSE Maths already? Is the GLA allowing additional interventions to be added or changes from the 1-10 interventions to be made? Is there a possibility of London Multiply provision attracting learners away from accredited maths courses? Is there any changes to off-menu provision? Can we still deliver this in Year two? Since creating the Multiply project block on GLA-OPS we've changed our planned subcontracting arrangements. How can we edit it? The delivery has changed, is it possible to change on interventions we intend to deliver and numbers of learners/courses? We are doing most of our courses on demand with local community groups. Do these courses still need to be advertised on NCS? What are the limitations in adapting delivery of London Multiply? What is the suggested curriculum for London Multiply provision? When is performance review and reconciliation of funding is taking place? With regards to change, does this include changing the hours planned for each course for next year? Data submission Are learners going to appear on the ILR in the future? Are learners participating in the "off the menu interventions" seen as learners who don't fully engage in the programme? Are there any specific DAM codes to be used? Will we need to put in DAM 023? Can a learner be enrolled on multiple courses as they progress? Can a learner enrol on London Multiply course e.g., personal finance / other intervention types and at the same time is working towards Functional Skills maths Level two qualification? Can an additional learning aim for Multiply be added to an accredited course? Can learners in Year one enrol on courses in Year two under Multiply? Can same learner be enrolled on same learning aim more than once? Do all participants on London Multiply activities need to be unique learners and do they need to be enrolled through the ILR? Do you have a template of reporting for learners who do not engage in the programme? Does delivery under two GLH still need collection of all the enrolment ILR data that more substantial delivery will need? Does early data reports as the ILR values mean that delivery will usually be excluded from anything already written in FIS? How do you illustrate the learners journey? How early can we submit the report? If a learner started in this financial year, e.g. Feb 2022, and will complete the course in April 2022. Will we include them in this April return? Will we receive funding for that learner this year? If one learner enrolled on two different interventions in two different terms, do we count the learner once or twice? Some councils/colleges will be away for the first 2 weeks of April reporting (Easter break). Any flexibility on deadlines? The Funding Model is 99. Does it mean recorded learning on ILR will not count towards the Qualification Achievement Rates (QAR)? The rules say we need to collect ALL the same as AEB but that is more than usual FM 99? The spreadsheets (for example, the quarterly report) are difficult to use, can they be made more user-friendly? There are 10 interventions and insufficient number of learning aims. Can we open the space for more interventions? We are in the process of submitting R03 ILR. Which learning aims should we use for our August starts? We currently have Multiply learners with rule violations in the ILR. Can you advise how to clear these errors? We do not usually do monthly ILR, is this a requirement now for London Multiply? Workforce development Are there any plans to support with workforce capacity/training and recruitment of adult numeracy teachers? Workforce recruitment is a big barrier in timely delivery of London Multiply programme. How can the GLA support this? Commissioning When will the GLA’s Multiply fund open for bidding? And will applications be need to made to the GLA? Communications Can you please confirm if we are required to use the Multiply branding on the Direct Gov site and the Mayor of London Logo? Does the Multiply logo have to appear on any enrolment forms/Learning Agreements? Evaluation Does the rule of learners not needing to take the survey twice still apply with London Multiply? What will London Multiply programme evaluation look like? What evidence will be required from providers? Why are we required to only allow students to claim against this programme if they complete GLA London Survey? Will learners on interventions under two hours have to do the London Learner Survey? Will we regularly receive a copy of responses to the London Learner Survey so we know which learners to chase up to hit 50%+?
