Stats shared with me by Camden Council show that each week 2 people on average are injured or even killed on Kilburn High Road. This important road and commercial thoroughfare has a safety record that has actually been getting worse. At the end of November, another person, a pensioner in his early 70s, was killed on Kilburn High Road, news which has become grimly familiar. The pandemic interrupted Camden and Brent Councils' joint scheme to address this but I know they are now bringing forward new plans to provide space for people to move around much more safely in Kilburn...
