The London Underground is ventilated by a number of Victorian vents. I understand that some boroughs have carried out Air Quality testing and have found high levels of pollution. Could the Mayor detail what measures he is putting in place to regulate air quality in the London Underground and make a statement?

Further to your reply to question number 2792/2012, I have been asked by a local resident to put the further questions to you: a) 'We are aware that the 343 gives 'direct' links to interchanges with other services. It doesn't, however, provide direct links to places where many people may actually want to get to. Do you believe that a journey which involves interchanging is 'direct'? b) Are you happy with the reliability of this route? c) What are the results of the surveys carried out on this route over the summer? Do TfL plan to undertake further surveys outside...
