Studies have repeatedly shown dangerously high levels of particulate matter on the London Underground compared to levels at the roadside. One year on from the ULEZ extension, is it time to shift the focus from punitive measures on drivers, to improving air quality on the Underground?

The North East London Physician Response Unit provides home emergency medical care for acutely unwell patients who cannot be seen in a hospital environment because the ambulance journey and long wait in A&E is too debilitating. It has a proven track record of saving both lives and money. Given concerning reports that the PRU’s funding has been cut, in your view, what measures can be put in place to secure the ongoing provision of this vital, cost-effective service that helps relieve pressure on A&E?
