I have been asked to put the following question to you on behalf of a member of the public: I would like to know how the mayor is going to try to tackle the harassment and assault of women in the streets of London and on public transport?

Given your comments at the September Mayor's Question time that you "want to ensure that adults in London have access to affordable financial services, including those that will help them save and plan for retirement", - what assessment have you made of the comments by Joanne Segars, Chief Executive of the Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association that: "we can't simply cross our fingers, close our eyes and pray for interest rates to go up"?

End of Life Care

Pursuant to question number 2016/3808, leading charities such as Marie Curie, advocate for every Health and Wellbeing Board in London to include end of life care in their Health and Wellbeing Strategy. Again, will you call for Health and Wellbeing Boards in London to ensure that their future Health and Wellbeing strategy includes a specific reference to end of life care to ensure that Londoners across every borough receive a consistent standard of care?

School Census and country of origin

Since September 2016, schools and colleges in England have been required by the Department for Education to ask parents if their children are foreign nationals and where they were born. This may result in this information being used for immigration enforcement purposes. Will you ask your Deputy Mayor with statutory duties for education and childcare to look into this new requirement and its implications on the school children who may be affected?

The Local Government Association has called on the government to include a social tariff in its universal service obligation for broadband which would give low-income families a basic service of at least 10Mbps. Do you agree that all Londoners should have access to broadband? If so, how can you as Mayor for London assist in making this a reality?

Self-employment and low-pay data

Thank you for your commitment to liaise with the Living Wage Foundation to look into collecting data on low pay and self-employment. There are concerns that the Living Wage Foundation does not yet collect this data for employees let alone the self-employed. I am sure that you will agree that with detailed up to date data, we can fully understand the scale of the issue facing London and how best we can assist. Can you tell me when the Living Wage Foundation will start to collect robust data on this issue?
