TfL has said, "The first new [Piccadilly line] train arrived in London in October 2024. The train will now go through a year-long programme of intensive testing, before starting to enter passenger service by the end of 2025". The Taxicard service is administered by London Councils, however, TfL provides the majority of funding for the service. I understand that TfL is currently working with London Councils and boroughs to review provision across London. As residents have reported issues they are facing with the service, such as booked taxis not arriving, can you please provide an update on this work?
