Safety improvements at Bounds Green Road junction with Brownlow Road, Haringey

I understand that TfL is working with Haringey Council to improve safety at the junction of Brownlow Road and Bounds Green Road. This is a junction where vehicles regularly straddle and move across the pedestrian crossing outside Bounds Green Tube station, even when the pedestrian green man is showing thereby putting pedestrians in significant danger; most recently a young boy on his way to school was hit by a moving vehicle. What improvements are being considered and when can these be implemented?
