A constituent has contacted me to ask whether, in light of the outcome of the consultation regarding the 497 bus service, TfL would consider “extending route 497 towards Ockendon Station (via Upminster Station) by following the 347 routing and axing route 347 because part of the route (Romford to Harold Hill) is already served by route 498. This would allow TfL to divert funding to extend route 497 by providing more bus services to areas served by the route 347”. Is this something you would support?

Lord Kerlsake’s review of GLA Housing Delivery examines your manifesto pledge of creating a ‘City Hall Developer’. Lord Kerslake concludes that if the GLA is serious about direct delivery of housing, it must look to ‘creative funding solutions’ beyond capital support from central Government or joint ventures.
