Residents have complained of poor service on the Piccadilly line through Hounslow throughout the summer to the present, with delays and cancellations. Will you explain what the causes of these delays have been, whether there are any underlying causal factors, why service recovery has generally been slow and what is being done to improve service going forward?

In a letter (dated 06/06/2023) responding to me requesting a bus link from Osterley to the Elizabeth line at Southall Station you responded that this would not be possible due to the bridge over the Grand Union Canal being unable to support the weight of buses. Residents have suggested there are alternative routes, including along Tentelow Lane. Can you please ask TfL to re-examine the proposal to see if there are any other routes that would work?
