Local residents tell me that since the Baker Street Two Way (BSTW) conversion was completed, Gloucester Place has seen a marked increase in the amount of traffic in the area, including diesel-run coaches and articulated lorries next to Dorset Square Gardens. This increase in traffic is at odds with how the BSTW project was presented to residents and seems unnecessary given there are less residential roads parallel to Gloucester Place which could be used as alternatives. Is TfL aware of the issue and what initiatives – such as introducing traffic calming measures onto Gloucester Place – are being considered to...
