So, you are washing your hands of green manufacturing in the same way that you are washing your hands of manufacturing in London generally?

So, if we want solar panels to go on new buildings in London why do we not manufacture them here? In Wrexham, at the end of the year 2003 they are going to have their own photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing plant. Why can we not do this in London?

It should be noted that the Mayor actually said something nice about a Liberal Democrat-run Council, I thought the theme for this morning was attacking the Liberal Democrats from all sides, I am glad others have joined in, entertaining if not particularly enlightening. If it is underground photovoltaics panels we are obviously after the Womble vote. I will check into the details, but I am sure it is not as you presented it. The serious point that I want to ask the Mayor about is whether he agrees that we should be using the opportunity of the Thames Gateway developments...

Were you pleased that the Liberal Democrats were supporting the zero energy developments in Sutton and are you surprised that the Liberal Democrats in Harrow are leading the campaign of opposition against the zero energy development there? Does that surprise you?

If I may quickly come back to the issue of an event in Central London because obviously that is part of my constituency. I appreciate that you are saying you do not want to focus too many people in one area. Does that mean that despite the fact that people tend to gravitate towards Trafalgar Square it will be closed like it was last New Year's Eve to try and prevent too much of a gathering there?

On this side we are very glad you have taken this can?do approach to New Year's Eve. Certainly, many of us were so upset when last year the rest of the world's cities were celebrating New Year while London was in darkness. So well done. But can you assure us that it will not just be focused at adults? I am thinking of the parks in particular. We are not very far from Southwark Park, for example, where there is already a good network of young people. I believe that some of this money should actually be allocated to young...
